Quick GP2 1500 Horizontal Windlass Kit 12v 500w 6mm (Q-GP2091101K)A kit consisting of the Quick GP2 1500 horizontal on-deck windlass suitable for boats from 6-10 meters (20-33 ft), a 12V T6415-12 contactor unit, a windlass handle, windlass panel switch and a hydro magnetic circuit breaker 50A. This GP2 1500 model of windlass has an anodized aluminium in hard oxide base and an epicyclical gearbox that provides much higher efficiency (+40% compared to equivalent traditional gearboxes). The windlass features a 6mm gypsy which is suitable for 6mm DIN 766 and 6mm ISO chain, as well as 1/2" (12.7mm) rope. (PLEASE NOTE these values refer to a three-strand polyester rope with a rope/chain splice manufactured with the Quick® system).
