Shipping Information

UK orders are shipped via either DHL Domestic, Royal Mail Parcel Post or 1st Class Post depending on the your orders value and weight. We offer free deliver accross most of UK for orders under 20kg, this is a 5 - 7 working service however you can upgrade to faster options if you so wish. Overseas order are shipped via DHL and are typically 2 - 7 days delivery.

International Post

For items under £50 we offered the option of International Post.
However, the items are not insured, and cannot be fully tracked.
Delivery times vary depending on country, but be aware items can take up to 6 week to arrive.

On the day of despatch you will be sent a notification via email that your order has left us, this will include your tracking information if applicable.

YOU MUST INFORM US WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THIS EMAIL IF YOUR PARCEL HAS NOT ARRIVED, WE CANNOT TRACE AND RECOMPENCE ORDERS AFTER THIS TIME FRAME.

Returns


We hope that you are pleased with your purchase from Cactus 020 Ltd. However, we understand that there are occasions when it is necessary to return goods to us.

Goods faulty on Arrival
If your goods are faulty on arrival, you have 7 days to inform us of the fault by completing the goods returned form. When the goods are returned to us and the fault has been verified, we'll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method. Please call us on 020 78 33 34 35 or email us with details of the suspected fault and we will attempt to resolve the issues or give you instructions for returning the items. Please do not send items back to Cactus without getting authorisation as they will be refused at our logistics centre.

Goods damaged in transit
You must unpack and check your as soon as you receive them, If your goods were damaged in transit, you must let us immediately. Claims after 48 of receipt will not be considered. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt, its best to sign the delivery note accordingly.

Goods faulty within warranty period
If your goods develop a fault after 14 days, then provided your product is within its warranty period (at least 1 year), you are entitled to a repair under warranty. In some cases, Cactus can perform on board service but this only applies to items professionally installed by an authorised installer and where a valid warranty form has been completed and returned.

Warranty After 28 Days
For warranty issues after 28 days, goods will need to be returned to suppliers. Turnaround times can vary considerably depending on the time of year, but during peak season, it can take up to 28 days.

Please note that Cactus will always strive to offer a service that goes beyond your statutory rights under distance selling regulations. To ensure turnaround times are kept to a minimum, please return goods to us as quickly as possible.

Used stock
Please note that our used stock is sold with 3 months warranty only, and therefore any claims under the warranty after 3 months of receipt will be refused. Used stock is also excluded from the Distance Selling Directive.

If you have changed your mind
If you have simply changed your mind about your order and you wish to return your goods, then in line with the Distance Selling Directive (DSD) you can do so provided you inform us of this decision within 14 days from receipt. To exercise your cancellation right you must complete the online returns form as we do not except requests over the phone. The goods must not be opened nor used and must be "as new" when returned to us. Once you've informed us of your decision to return goods under DSD, you have a further 14 days to do so at your own expense. Once goods are received at Cactus, we'll issue a full refund for the cost of the goods to your original payment method. Please note this policy does have some limitations and does not apply to business customers. It also does not apply to any special order products, software, electronic charts or spare parts.

Paints, Antifoul & Varnish
Please note paint can't be returned if the tin has been opened.
This is because the tins are pressurised with an inert gas during manufacture and once opened the seal is broken and the gas escapes and the shelf life of the paint is reduced.

Refunds


Refunds will be processed within 3 working days by the original payment method. Just so you know, if you paid on card, it can take up to 7 days to appear back in your account, with PayPal refunds taking up to 28 days.
If you are cancelling a historical bank order then we may have to arrange the refund by bank transfer and will need your bank details to do this.



YOU MUST LET US KNOW WITHIN 14 DAYS IF ANYTHING IS WRONG, VIA THE FORMS ON THE WEBSITE SO WE CAN PUT IT RIGHT. THEREFORE, PLEASE DON’T PUT THE GOODS TO ONE SIDE OR HAND THEM OVER TO A BOAT YARD / ENGINEER WITHOUT CHECKING THEM. WE NEVER TAKE ITEMS BACK UNLESS YOU HAVE IMFORMED US WITHIN 14 DAYS VIA THE FORMS ON THE WEBSITE.

SO THERE IS NO CONFUSION OR MISUNDERSTANDINGS ALL REQUESTS FOR RETURN MUST BE DONE THROUGH THE WEBSITE, WE CAN NOT DO THIS VIA THE PHONE. STAFF ARE NOT AUTHORISED TO VARY FROM THESE TERMS.
