August Race Oceans Assured Bio-D Antifreeze - 5LA non-toxic, biodegradable antifreeze designed for the safe winterisation of onboard potable water systems, toilets, washdown lines, and ancillary circuits. Developed as part of the Oceans Assured™ MARPOL-compliant range, this formulation is based on food-grade propylene glycol and glycerin, combined with low-toxicity corrosion inhibitors and preservatives. It is free from nitrites, amines, phosphates, borates, and azoles, ensuring it is non-hazardous to aquatic life and safe for both marine and leisure use. Suitable for yachts, RIBs, workboats, and RV/camper systems, it provides freeze/burst protection down to −50 °C (depending on dilution).

DIRECTIONS
Drain water system prior to application.
Fill lines, tanks, and toilets with neat product until coloured fluid emerges at outlets.
Leave in place over winter lay-up.
Flush thoroughly with fresh water before recommissioning for potable use.
Check freeze protection level with a refractometer or hydrometer if diluted.
ALWAYS
Do not discharge used antifreeze to the marine environment; land ashore in accordance with MARPOL Annex V.
Avoid contact with eyes; rinse immediately if contact occurs.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.
Keep container sealed when not in use.
Dispose of container responsibly through recycling. |
