Pulsar Quantum XQ50 Thermal Monocular

The Quantum XQ series of handheld thermal monoculars are suitable for both day and night time use and can be used in inclement weather (Fog, smog, rain). The XQ range is designed for the outdoors, consisting of a GRP body and a frost resistant OLED display for use in a wide range of operating temperatures.

The stand out feature of the Quantum XQ Series is the 388x288 17µ sensor which has increased the detection ranges and magnification of the devices.

Users can now take advantage of the easier to use integrated Stadiametric rangefinder accessible by a dedicated button, allowing for the distance of an object of a known size (Deer, Boar, Hare) to be calculated. The ‘Display Off’ function temporarily cuts power to the display screen, reducing the chance of discovery due to unintentional light exposure from the devices eyepiece and conserving power. There’s a choice of 7 colour pallets, three operating modes and three methods of calibration.

Device handling is simple. The thermal monocular is especially ergonomic, making use of strategically placed buttons and a central control wheel for quick adjustments. Remote operation is also an option with the included wireless remote control, allowing for basic operations to be performed without resorting to standard controls.

To increase the operating time, the XQ range has the ability of disabling the video output, additionally user can an optional external power supply such as the Pulsar EPS3i and EPS5.
