Integrated boat security and monitoring system with GSM messaging capability. Track boat position, monitor ststus and control your boat remotely via phone, sms or web! Sophisticated yet simple on board control unit

The Marine Link to the Wireless World

The HarborMaster™ Mark II is the newest and most advanced wireless remote monitoring and security system designed specifically for the marine environment. It monitors the vital signs of unattended boats on moorings, at marina docks or in storage, ensuring owners that their boat is safe and secure at all times. The HarborMaster use the GSM networks and comes with an integrated internal radio with no additional subscription or connection required. In the event of an alarm, owners are notified by telephone, fax, SMS or e-mail. With full web integration, HarborMaster subscribers can easily view the status of their boat, retrieve detailed historical statistics or even remotely activate devices on board their boat.   See how it works.

“Smart Sensors” For Total Protection

The HarborMaster’s 14 “Smart Sensors” monitor specified on-board conditions, vital boat systems, record monthly statistics, and provide protection against intrusion and unauthorized use. In the event of boat theft, a GPS interface allows the HarborMaster to transmit the vessel’s exact location.

The conditions monitored by the HarborMaster are:

  • High Water
  • Low Battery 1 & 2
  • Bilge Pump 1 & 2
  • Loss of AC
  • Burglar 1 & 2
  • Fire
  • Temperature
  • GPS Coordinates
  • Ignition On
  • HM Low Battery
  • AUX – Monitors conditions of owner's choice (Important Fuse; Boat Adrift; Carbon Monoxide; Gasoline and Explosive Vapors)

Detailed Statistical Reporting

Web integration ensures that boat owners have access to detailed statistics on their boat's performance. Statistics are compiled that can be accessed onboard from the HarborMaster's display screen, or remotely via harborstore.com from anywhere in the world. The statistics report tells the owner:

StatisticWhy Important
Bilge Pump
Number of times the bilge pump turns on
The pumping time duration
The five-day moving average for cycle duration
Provides the owner with an early warning of potential problems
Owner can determine unusual activity
AC
The number of times and duration of AC shore power outages.
This is an important parameter to monitor for boats with trickle chargers, standing lights, freezers, etc.
Ignition
The number of times the ignition was activated and the number of engine hours utilized.
Important for monitoring unauthorized use.
Provides the owner with information about the need for additional fuel or scheduled maintenance.
Keyless entry
The identity of each key fob and the number of times it is used.
This provides a record of who uses the boat and provides a usage record for insurance policy purposes.
Battery
The current voltage of up to two batteries.
Ensures you have plenty of power when you need it.
GPS Interface
The GPS longitude and latitude when the boat’s external GPS is powered on.
This feature allows for real time tracking of the vessel in the event it is adrift or stolen.
Password Protection
The number of times the programming password has been used.
This allows an owner to determine if the marina or alarm response company has been following a contracted monitoring schedule.
Signal Strength/#of calls
The current signal strength, the number of communications failures since the last report and the number of calls made in the current period.
A useful statistic for verifying billing details.

Immediate Alarm Notification

The HarborMaster uses the GSM mobile telephone network to transmit alarm signals to our Notification Centre servers which then send alarm messages by telephone, fax, SMS and/or e-mail as per the owner’s easily programmable instructions .

Alarm signals will be sent in situations such as:

  • High Water
  • Unusual Bilge Pump 1 activity
  • Unusual Bilge Pump 2 activity
  • Low Battery 1
  • Low Battery 2
  • AC
  • Burglary 1
  • Burglary 2
  • Fire
  • High temperature or low temperature condition
  • AUX monitors conditions of owner's choice (important fuse; boat adrift; carbon monoxide; gasoline and explosive vapors)
  • HarborMaster Low Battery

A GSM radio, built into the Harbormaster system, transmits alarm signals to a central server site which relays alarms by fax, SMS, e-mail or voice telephone call to the boat owner and/or a designated marina, at which point immediate assistance can be dispatched at the owner’s discretio
