Garmin GWS10 Wind System - includes GMI10 Display

A complete wind system comprising of the new GWS10 masthead unit and a GMI10 multifunction display.

This new Garmin wind sensor offers a real edge and provides the ability to gather wind speed and direction measurements, barometric pressure and air temperature with a single, integrated unit. The Garmin GWS 10 installs with ease – providing data output to your Garmin display via NMEA 2000 cable and bus (which also powers the GWS 10).  It’s designed to interface with Garmin’s GMI^TM 10 universal instrument display.  This “smart” trasducer also adds barometric pressure and air temperatre data – offering weather station capabilities.  The wind sensor is designed with elliptical cups, scientifically proven to be most sensitive to wind speed allowing the GWS 10 to measure wind speeds as low as 0.5 knots.
